Black and Latinx professionals make up just 9.7% and 9.1% of business and financial operations roles, despite higher population representation.
TECHNOLOGY:
Only 15% of CIO/CTO roles in top NASDAQ tech firms are held by women or non-binary professionals.
HEALTHCARE:
Black professionals represent just 10.9% of healthcare practitioner roles.
In entrepreneurship, the disparities are equally stark:
Only 3% of U.S. businesses are Black-owned, though Black individuals make up ~14% of the population. Black women are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs, yet receive <1% of total business funding.
