Build 2 Lead is a community 501(c)3 organization. Empowering, engaging, and educating people to lead – youth, parents, educators, and community members - is at the center of our work. Build 2 Lead programs nurture confidence in young people and communities so they can interact with, and advocate to change the systems that historically limit them.
So far, in 2023 B2L has served 36 youth through it's Civic Champions and Closing the G.A.P. Programs. Students participated in 75 hours (per youth) of Civic Engagement training and 60 hours (per youth) of Workforce Development Training.
Our case managers and staff have made 14 resource allocations and resource connections, as well as, put in 180 hours of case management. Build 2 Lead has also distributed $30,000 in financial and incentives for B2L youth and families.
