Students in grades 8-12 can access our virtual learning modules for comprehensive leadership development, mission/vision building, and understanding of financial literacy.
What is B2L Virtual?
Developed in 2020 to meet the needs of students during the COVID-19 pandemic, students in grades 8-12 can access our virtual learning modules for comprehensive leadership development, mission and vision building, and skills building in financial literacy. Students can engage in synchronous and asynchronous learning. Virtual learning programs can bridge to in-person Build 2 Lead programs in schools and youth spaces.
Fall 2023: We are currently overhauling our virtual platform to reach more students. Check back for updates!

Examples of B2L Virtual Courses
Mission & Vision
Build a mission and vision for your life! In this module students are asked to think critically about their personal, academic, and community goals for the next 3, 5, and 7 years.
Advocacy
Use mission & vision template to create milestones for college access. Create post-secondary profiles. Begin building a culminating project for community advocacy.
Entrepreneurship
Learn the different ways to form a business. Engage in real world examples of culturally relevant business ventures. Opportunities for possible internships if youth qualifies.
Financial Literacy
Diverse concepts are explored linked to financial literacy. Students are provided a foundational budget for financial planning. Students are introduced to the concept of taxes and credit.
Virtual Learning Partnerships
We Partner with School Based Synchronous or Asynchronous Registration, Community Based Partners, and Parents and Families to create access to B2L developed virtual content.
