Build 2 Lead's mission is to EMPOWER, ENGAGE, and EDUCATE! We partner with BIPOC youth, their families, and their communities – to lift collective skills and social capital – to influence systemic change.
As we continue to live out our mission, we are aware of our position. Through our work we have built real relationships with our communities, impacted students, and are on the verge of co-creating generational change through amazing community and institutional partnerships.
WE NEED YOUR HELP.
As a 501c3 donations are tax deductible and continue to help us operate our B2L Direct Programs and B2L Legacy Events. For more information please feel free to view our donation and sponsorship pamphlets. For those who have donated and funded our missions we are TRULY THANKFUL!

We are back and invite those who want to be involved to send us sponsorships and donations. Check out our sponsorship guide below to learn more!
We are excited to present this year's theme of “Closing the G.A.P” -- directly related to our efforts to remove workforce barriers for Black and Brown youth and increase Black and Brown representation in the systems of Healthcare, Education, and Criminal Justice.
We will be “Closing the G.A.P” to inequitable access, underrepresentation, and wealth as it relates to entry level, professional and executive level jobs in healthcare.
Led by our P.O.W.E.R Partners and Community Council, this years event will be EPIC and include a roll out of our “It’s In Me” documentary related to amplifying the voices of those who work in healthcare and a fireside Q&A related to having honest and open conversations around the current state of healthcare and the governments and local institutions overall impact on our health.
Please email us at info@build2lead.org to get involved. In the meantime, here is a recap of our last Melanin and Medicine event:
