Reaching for Greatness launched on December 4th with our new cohorts of Elementary School Students at Jennie Reed Elementary in Tacoma, WA and Evergreen Middle School in Federal Way, WA.
Students in our Reaching for Greatness program dove into topics and activities related to relationship building, character development, healthy relationships & forming healthy bonds/friendships, and best practices and strategies for developing self-awareness.
Our lead facilitator for Reaching for Greatness Dairyona Thompson, led our youth in restorative circles centered on healing from previous fractured friendships and trauma they experienced from these fractured friendships/relationships.
