Youth Executive Committee

Listening Has Become Leadership


One of the most exciting milestones this quarter was the completion of our Youth Executive Committee Listening Sessions.


Over the past several months, youth leaders facilitated conversations focused on:

  • Community Safety

  • Housing Stability

  • Economic Mobility

  • Mental Health & Substance Use Prevention



These conversations generated powerful stories, honest dialogue, and valuable recommendations directly from young people.

Now the work enters its next phase.


Summer Action Plan


Using the data collected, Youth Executive Committee members will begin:

  • Designing youth-led community events

  • Launching social media awareness campaigns

  • Developing policy and advocacy recommendations

  • Creating educational resources

  • Building partnerships that elevate youth voice across our region


Rather than allowing listening sessions to become reports sitting on shelves, our youth are transforming community feedback into meaningful action.

That is youth leadership in practice.
